Students come to Jaywant College of Engineering & Management from any state with vast variety of interest in order to secure admission to any of the five degree programmes offered at Jaywant College of Engineering & Management. The candidate should satisfy any one of the eligibility criteria mentioned.
 
Eligibility Criteria
  1. For the candidate of Maharashtra state in addition to educational qualification as specified in the Para "Entry Requirement", candidates should require to apply for MH-CET and should secure non zero score to eligible for admission for state quota (65%) seats through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
  2. For the candidate outside Maharashtra state, in addition to educational qualification as specified in the Para "Entry Requirement", candidates are require to appear and qualify in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for that academic year & should be eligible for admission against this 15% reserve seats.
  3. For the candidate wishing admission under Management Quota Candidates from Maharashtra state as well as outside Maharashtra State having educational qualification as specified in the Para "Entry Requirement" are eligible for management quota (20%) seats provided that they have to appear for MH-CET conducted by the competent authority or conducted by agency (if any) including association of all private colleges approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samity. However they are required to apply separately to management of the institute for these seats.
  4. For the Diploma Holder candidates.
    After admitting candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mention at Para (1, 2. and 3) above, if the vacancies still exist after the cut off date declared by the concern Government authority, the principal may admit diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in engineering/ technology with minimum 50% marks & medium of instruction as English from polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE, approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra state (for Maharashtra state candidates) or such polytechnics situated in or outside Maharashtra state (for outside the Maharashtra state candidate) such admissions are also as per merit of candidates applied for the particular un-aided college.
 
Admission Procedure
The procedure of filling application forms to appear for Common Entrance Test (CET) begins after completion of HSC Examination at the junior colleges. The admission process normally begins immediately after declaration of results of HSC (10+ 2) examination and CET results. Maharashtra state candidate can apply against the advertisement of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state that is published in most of leading news papers or can directly apply to institute to seek admission under management quota. The Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidate can directly apply to institute for the admission
 
Fee Structure
The eligible candidate who are allotted a seat to any of the branch under any of the available quota have to pay the tuition, development and any other fees as applicable at the time of admission. The fee structure is decided by Shikshan Shulka Samity constituted by government of Maharashtra state.
 
Rules For Cancellation of Admission & Refund of fees
The cancellation of admission and refund of fees will be as per the guidelines suggested by DTE Maharashtra state Mumbai from time to time and further modification there to.
